HARD-PARTYING crypto bros John Woeltz and William Duplessie kidnapped and tortured an Italian millionaire for over two weeks in a Big Apple townhouse in a failed attempt to bully the man into giving up the password for his Bitcoin wallet, lawmen say.

According to the New York Police Department, bloodied and barefoot Michael Valentino Teofrasto Carturan escaped from the $75,000-a-month rental in SoHo and flagged down a traffic officer for help.

Assistant District Attorney Michael Mattson alleges that Woeltz, 37, and Duplessie, 32, lured business associate Carturan, 28, to America by threatening to kill his family as part of their twisted plot.
