The British designer reveals her take on luxury – holidays to the Amalfi Coast and the Seychelles, good moisturisers and space to breathe
Philippa Thackeray co-founded fashion brand Paper London in 2011, creating a label focused on bold, contemporary design and sustainability. It uses eco-friendly materials and non-toxic inks, and draws influence from modern art, architecture and global travel. Among its fans are stars such as Margot Robbie, Taylor Swift and Gigi Hadid.
A luxury evening for me involves a relaxed dinner on a clifftop in the Amalfi Coast, barefoot and wearing a Paper [London] cotton dress - sipping something very cold with someone who makes me laugh. To eat? A steak so good it doesn't need sauce - charred just right, pink in the middle and eaten late with a delicious red, good conversation and no interruptions.
My biggest indulgence is time. Carving out space to be completely unreachable.
