Christie and Rosanna Wollenberg, sisters and founders of the demi-fine jewellery brand, reflect on what luxury means to them
Sisters Christie and Rosanna Wollenberg launched their demi-fine jewellery brand in 2016. Before founding Otiumberg (the name combines their surname with the Latin word “otium”, meaning leisure time), both worked in creative industries: Rosanna in branding in New York and Christie for luxury fashion brands, including Burberry and Louis Vuitton.
Fans of the brand include the actresses Emma Watson, Jodie Comer, Margot Robbie, Olivia Colman, Keira Knightley and Anne Hathaway.
The sisters are not only business partners, but also neighbours: after inheriting a plot of land in Wimbledon, southwest London, they built identical houses next door to each other.
