Brenda R. Deutsch was accused of abusing her foster daughter and offering to exchange her for a pet monkey

MISSOURI foster mom Brenda R. Deutsch copped a deal with prosecutors after being accused of trading a kid in her care for a monkey, officials say.

Deutsch, 70, pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, which carries a sentence of up to seven years behind bars or up to one year in jail and a fine as high as $10,000.

According to Lincoln County Circuit Court documents, prosecutors agreed to drop two counts of abuse or neglect of a child in exchange for her admission.
