Cancer hastens plans to coronate eldest, sideline Harry for good
-

King Charles' eldest son, Prince William, kissed the monarch at his May 6, 2023, coronation inside Westminster Abbey
FRAIL King Charles is poised to give up the throne as the ailing British monarch grapples with incurable cancer — setting the stage for a summer coronation of his son and heir Prince William, courtiers confide.
But palace insiders fear that the increasingly feeble-looking king — who did not disclose which type of the disease is seemingly sapping his strength and vitality — may not see his 77th birthday on Nov. 14.
“King Charles is much sicker than the palace lets on and simply isn’t up to the job of running his fractious family, the crown’s business interests and fulfilling the daily duties of the monarchy,” a member of the royal inner circle said, according to GLOBE. “His cancer is eating him alive. He's very frail. The situation is desperate.”
In The Telegraph, royal correspondent Camilla Tominey recently wrote, “The talk now is that he may die ‘with’ cancer, but not ‘of’ cancer following a rigorous treatment program.”

ROCK ON!
PHIL DANIELS plays a restless London youth in the 1979 British movie Quadrophenia, based on the Who's rock opera - but oddly, the chaotic production was not a musical, and the Who does not even appear in it! The lead was supposed to go to JOHN LYDON - better known as Johnny Rotten of notorious punk band the Sex Pistols - but the film's distributors thought he was too dicey a personality to insure. Nevertheless, production did not go smoothly. The Who's legendary drummer, KEITH MOON, died during filming, and a brawl scene in the seaside city of Brighton used two real- life rival gangs, resulting in a \"real riot - health and safety didn't come into it,\" according to Daniels.
