The 56-year-old Canadian hitmaker canceled all her tour dates after she was diagnosed in 2022 with the rare autoimmune neurological disorder that causes muscles to spasm uncontrollably - eventually leading to a terrifying physical lockdown that robs victims of the ability to walk and talk.

The lead was supposed to go to JOHN LYDON - better known as Johnny Rotten of notorious punk band the Sex Pistols - but the film's distributors thought he was too dicey a personality to insure. Nevertheless, production did not go smoothly. The Who's legendary drummer, KEITH MOON, died during filming, and a brawl scene in the seaside city of Brighton used two real- life rival gangs, resulting in a \"real riot - health and safety didn't come into it,\" according to Daniels.
