BIRD FLU FEARS TAKE WING!

WITH the death of the first human from bird flu in the U.S., worries are growing that another pandemic like COVID-19, which killed more than 1.2 million Americans, may be about to erupt!

The good news so far is that no one has gotten this avian flu virus, which is known as H5N1, from another human. And only 66 people in the U.S. have been confirmed in-fected so far, and they were all dairy or poultry workers or other people who contracted the virus after contact with infected animals.
