Madhusudhan G, chairman and MD, Sumadhura Group, takes us through the remarkable journey of the company's growth and evolution. From humble beginnings in a small village in Nalgonda district to building one of the most trusted names in real estate, Madhusudhan shares how his early experiences at LIC of India shaped his understanding of the sector from multiple perspectives. With 53 completed projects and 13 ongoing ones, Sumadhura has carved a niche in both the premium affordable and luxury housing segments, with recent forays into plotted developments. Could you tell us about your journey before founding Sumadhura?Madhusudhan: Well, my journey began in a small village in Nalgonda district, in what was then undivided Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. I come from an agricultural family and was the eighth child. After completing my Bachelor of Science degree in Nalgonda, I started working at LIC of India at the young age of 19. I spent five years there, mainly in the housing loans department.
