VIDYAVARDHAKA College of Engineering (VVCE) is one of Karnataka's premier engineering institutions, established in 1997 in the heritage city of Mysuru. The college functions under the aegis of Vidyavardhaka Sangha (VVS), which was founded in 1949 by eminent visionaries Sahukar Channaiah and K. Puttaswamy, a former minister in Karnataka, with the objective of imparting quality education to all sections of society.

Today, VVS continues its forward march under the able leadership of Gundappa Gowda, President, Shivalingappa B, Vice President, Er. P. Vishwanath, Secretary and Shrishaila Ramannavar, Treasurer. Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering is led by its able and dynamic Principal, Dr Sadashive Gowda B, who brings with him rich experience in both industry and academia in India and abroad.
