JSW STEEL, India's leading private-sector steelmaker and part of the JSW Group, reported a robust performance in FY24, marked by record production, growing global footprint, and continued investment in green and digital steelmaking.
Despite global macroeconomic volatility and steel price fluctuations, the company remained focused on long-term value creation and capacity expansion. It continues to be among the top companies in BW Real 500 list of companies every year.
For the year ended March 31, 2024,
JSW Steel clocked a consolidated revenue of Rs 1,69,030 crore, while consolidated net profit stood at Rs 8,973 crore. Crude steel production reached a new peak of 26.43 million tonnes, up 8 per cent year over year, while total sales volumes hit 25.25 million tonnes.
