Redefining opulence through a charcoal- themed design

"Black here, isn't absence it's presence. And every aspect of this home reflects this. The home is a perfect example to prove that darkness can be both whimsical and beautiful."

- Disha Subramanium

Redefining opulence through a charcoal- themed design

Set on the twelfth floor of a Gurgaon skyscraper, this apartment redefines modern luxury through a lens of timeless elegance.

The homeowners, having moved from an expansive bungalow, envisioned a residence that would retain the grandeur of their former home while adapting seamlessly to apartment living. The outcome is a graceful interplay of eras — a neoclassical sensibility interpreted in a contemporary language, enveloped in a rich charcoal palette. Ornate mouldings trace the walls like framed artworks, while subdued lighting and layered textures create an atmosphere that feels intimate, dramatic, and cinematic.
