There's no place like home

When I first wrote about Amy Cartwright and Matt Humphreys of Sailing Yacht Florence (PBO, March 2023), they were approaching the finish of a seven-year circumnavigation on their 1985 Oyster Heritage 37.

They made their homecoming in September 2023, and I defy you to watch the videos about their landfall in Cornwall and their grand return to their home port of Port Solent with dry eyes.

As they explain in the latter video, within two days of returning they had launched into an eight-month refit, working flat-out (while still maintaining their fortnightly video release schedule).
