Last month I rode down from Mumbai to Goa, all along the coast, to attend Royal Enfield’s Rider Mania, the company’s annual flex that brings in the adulating faithful in their thousands. This was also an opportunity to shake the reins of my Interceptor 650, which was lying in storage for two years as work and circumstance coerced me to live in Gurgaon, and head down the Konkan, one of the most beautiful motorcycling roads in India as well as a culinary trip in itself.
