Enjoy a coastal walk from Aldeburgh to Thorpeness Pick up the King Charles III England Coast Path and walk the short, two-mile stretch from Aldeburgh to Thorpeness, taking in the scallop shell sculpture, created by artist Maggi Hambling in memory of Suffolk's most famous composer, Benjamin Britten. On arrival in Thorpeness, view the 'House in the Clouds' converted water tower, before hiring a rowing boat on the beautiful Meare and exploring its islands, each named after Peter Pan characters. Grab some lunch or an ice cream at the Meare shop and tearoom before exploring the shingle beach.
