Go! Drive & Camp
|February/March 2025
The Viking is Adventure Xtreme's newest baby ready for your next dirt road adventure.

The Viking's gross vehicle mass (GVM) is just 750 kg, meaning you don't need a towing licence to tow it. Moreover, the axle is braked, so it can be towed by most regular cars.
Although the axle is rated at 1,6 t and the Viking boasts decent ground clearance, it's better suited for dirt roads rather than full offroad escapades.
This caravan clearly targets a wide market: from young couples upgrading from a tent to seasoned campers scaling down after conquering every rugged route imaginable. The Viking is perfect if you want something that's easy to tow and quick to set up.
It doesn't come with an extensive list of standard equipment, appealing to those who don't care much for some of the luxuries available these days. Many campers already have all they need, and the Viking's awning, fridge-freezer and basic utensils are more than enough.
Setup time
The Viking sets up easily and quickly. Once the two swingdown corner steadies at the rear are firmly on the ground and the caravan is level, you unfold the 270° awning on the left-hand side, covering the kitchen and rear. The door is located at the back, under the awning.
After unzipping the storage bag for the awning, swing out three of the five arms to the right, positioning them parallel to the rear of the caravan, where the far-right arm clips securely in place. Then swing out the remaining two arms to the left to fully extend the patio canopy. The awning is supported by five poles, and with two additional poles provided by the manufacturer, you can create a peak to allow rainwater to run off during storms.
