Rovanperä Wins First-ever Rally Latvia

This was the first WRC season wherein Rally Latvia was a part of the championship and Kalle Rovanperä became the first-ever WRC Rally Latvia winner

KALLE ROVANPERÄ started his rallying career in Latvia more than a decade ago when he was not even a Ateenager (he was 12 at the time) as Finland doesn't usually allow drivers to compete in rallies before the age of 18. So, it is almost poetic that he won the first-ever WRC Latvia as it joined the roster of championship rounds only this year.
