ULTRAVIOLETTE X47

The X47 has burst onto the scene like a breath of fresh air and plans to change our perception of the performance electric motorcycle, as we know it
-
When Ultraviolette launched the F77, it set the tone for what an Indian electric performance motorcycle could aspire to be. It was bold, sharp, and uncompromising, and it left us curious about what would follow. Now, with the arrival of the X47, I feel the promise has been fulfilled. That's to say that it has taken all the good bits from the F77 and SuperStreet, and turned it up a notch with practicality. As one would imagine, the X47 is built on the same philosophy of performance and design, but it's sharper, smarter, and more complete. It's a motorcycle that wants to do everything: go fast, look futuristic, deliver usable range, and bring in safety tech you don't expect at this price point. It's as much about the future of mobility as it is about the thrill of motorcycling.
The fighter-jet-inspired bodywork, the aggressive fairing lines, the stance that makes it look like it’s moving even when parked, it's all here. The X47 still feels like a machine designed to cut through the air rather than merely occupy space on the road. The chassis remains the same as the F77, but Ultraviolette has made changes to the subframe and suspension setup, which has 170mm of travel from the 41mm USDs up front and the rear monoshock. Both of these are pre-load adjustable. The wheelbase on the X47 is longer the F77 at 1,385mm, and the seat height is also taller at 820mm. The kerb weight sits at 208kg, which is on the heavier side.
