Jeep readies new Renegade for 2027 launch

Off-road brand is designing all-new mid-range SUV to replace decade-old Renegade
JEEP is planning to remove the covers from the all-new, second-generation Renegade within two years, giving the off-road-focused brand a fresh rival to the beloved Dacia Duster.
The first Renegade was launched back in 2014, and now feels very dated. Its role as the entry point to the Jeep's lineup was also taken by the even smaller (and generally much better) Avenger that was launched in 2022 and has since led to a tripling of the brand's sales in the UK.
Last summer, then Jeep CEO Antonio Filosa revealed the new Renegade would finally arrive by 2027, and confirmed that there will be an electric version priced from $25,000 (roughly £19,000) in the US.
