Busworld Southeast Asia 2024 lived up to its reputation as a brewing ground for innovation in the bus and coach industry. In the third edition, the predominantly bus body builder-dominated market was in the spotlight at the Jakarta International Expo (JIEXPO) Kemayoran – Jakarta, Indonesia between May 14-17, 2024. Co-organised by Global Expo Management (GEM Indonesia), it drew attention to the largest market in the ASEAN region with over 280 million people and 241,000 buses by the end of 2022. The 2024 edition had a footprint of over 6,500 sq. m. and drew participation from 48 exhibitors from six countries, including six vehicle exhibitors and 42 suppliers of components and accessories. 4,582 visitors from 33 countries descended this year as a testimony to global interest in the region.
