The 14th edition of iGen — India’s Top 50 Under 40 Architects and Designers, organised by Architect and Interiors India, came alive with grandeur at the opulent Grand Ballroom of The Leela Palace, Bengaluru. Centred around the theme, ‘Glocal Design Revolution’, this year's event brought together 50 of the nation's most innovative young design talents, sparking vibrant conversations and a dynamic celebration of creativity.
Celebrated for their distinctive creative flair, these young design talents were met with applause, congratulatory embraces, and an atmosphere buzzing with youthful energy. From among a highly competitive pool of nominations, 50 exceptional architects and designers emerged as the iGen 2025 Winners. The evening was a springboard for future design leaders, shining a spotlight on their outstanding contributions to the evolving landscape of Indian design.

MUSING MUSEUMS
A few months back, when I was in Budapest, I walked into a building that left me awestruck. The inquisitive me went on to explore, and I discovered that it was a museum with pixels on the exterior and that the curved structure of the building dipped underground to form the interiors, even as the garden I was walking on was the green roof of the building that interjected at street level! Woah! I quickly took some pictures and went on to research this building, and the more I read about it, the more I fell in love with it. And then of course I had to share it with you all!
