Stepping it up

In this exploration, we dive into the fascinating universe of captivating carpets and wooden floorings that complete the essence of a space. Discover how these elements wield the power to effortlessly tweak the comfort quotient of your home, transforming it into a haven uniquely tailored to your desires. Whether it’s the warmth of hardwood beneath our feet, the luxurious embrace of a custom-designed carpet, or the vibrant story told by an intricately patterned rug, follow how each element contributes to the symphony of a space.

EMBRACE THE UNEXPECTED

Ever felt the need to keep it fun yet functional? Infuse a surprising element or turn your timeless space into a mood changer with a striking centrepiece rug that breaks the mould. Rugberry’s Bedlam Woolen Rug alters the straightforward mood of this Ahmedabad bungalow’s living room with its vivid spikes. The electric blue injects a burst of energy that redefines modernity while paying homage to the traditional palette of this home designed by Gopal Patel of Design Salt Studio. This rug doesn’t follow trends; it sets them. The hand-tufted New Zealand wool catches the feet with an element of comforting surprise. The texture becomes a language of its own, subtly communicating a refreshing twist that effortlessly cheers up the space!

MUSING MUSEUMS

A few months back, when I was in Budapest, I walked into a building that left me awestruck. The inquisitive me went on to explore, and I discovered that it was a museum with pixels on the exterior and that the curved structure of the building dipped underground to form the interiors, even as the garden I was walking on was the green roof of the building that interjected at street level! Woah! I quickly took some pictures and went on to research this building, and the more I read about it, the more I fell in love with it. And then of course I had to share it with you all!
