"I'M ELATED but speechless," admitted trainer Sarah Humphrey after the apple of her eye, the big-jumping eight-year-old Nickle Back, landed a milestone first Grade One winner for the small, hard-working team from near Newmarket.
Jockey James Best's celebratory roar has become increasingly familiar this season as he's landed a string of high-profile races, and he too was celebrating a landmark first Grade One in the Virgin Bet Scilly Isles Novices' Chase, returning to a standing ovation from his colleagues.
