They’ve sizzled on screen together for more than two decades, but it’s Kate Winslet and Leo DiCaprio’s enduring, lovefilled relationship in real life that’s had many in their inner circle hoping they’d become more than just best friends.

“So many people close to Kate and Leo – including his mum – wish they’d give in to their obvious chemistry and give a romance a red hot go,” a source tells Woman’s Day.

“Sadly, it’s never worked out, mainly due to them not being single at the same time.”

That hasn’t stopped the pair from speaking adoringly about each other, with married Kate, 45, setting tongues wagging last week when she described her relationship with Leo, 46, as one “that all the women in the world would envy”, telling how they shared sex tips when they were filming Titanic!
