This year’s series of Strictly marks a turning point for the show, after the departure of judging panel stalwart Len Goodman, who’s been replaced by Latin and ballroom champ Shirley Ballas. How does Craig feel about his new co-judge?

‘Shirley Ballas will spice up the panel, for sure,’ he confesses. ‘She’s got so many medals we’ve all lost count. She’s bubbly, she’s opinionated, she knows what she’s talking about and she is the ballroom and Latin master on the panel like Len was. I can’t wait to go head to head with her... it’ll be a battle of the bitches!’
