I WAS diagnosed with bipolar in 2007. To this day, I cannot recall half of that year. I had an influx of emotions that took over. I was hospitalised and booked off work so many times, even to an extent that I almost depleted my sick leave days. This was all because of a chain of events in my life that had piled up over the years and I had not attended to.
