Jabra’s updated Elite 7 Pro promise a lot and cost a pretty penny with tough competition. Do they stand out?

Who is in charge?
Apart from regular charging, the Elite Pro 7 also supports wireless charging for added convenience.
Shelling out close to ₹20,000 on a pair of in-ears might be reserved for the fruity folk but if you’re serious about your music, you want the best in the business. The Jabra Elite 7 Pro come pretty close.
Available in three colours Titanium Black, Gold Beige and regular Black, the Jabra Elite 7 Pro look like the typical TWS in-ears but feel solid and premium. Even the case feels very well built and the buds themselves feel like they can survive quite a few accidental falls.
They come with three eartip sizes and fit extremely well. They also are super-comfortable and light and we didn’t feel the need to take them off to ‘air out our ears’. All this is thanks to a new EarGel design with varying thickness of the outer gel for each size, It’s also a more tapered, rounded tip.
Set up is quick and simple via Bluetooth and although you can use them the regular way, the host of features unleashed via the paired Jabra app is where the money is. You start off by tuning the buds to your ear which leads to a tonally balanced setting for each of your ears.
The Elite 7 Pro are incredibly detailed and present your tunes with ample energy and verve. The soundstage is wide and instruments are precisely on-point. We did feel that the lower frequencies could be a tad accentuated, but there is an equalizer which helps with that.
