DESIGN

The Logitech Signature M650 is a wireless mouse, designed for maximum productivity and comfort. It is sturdily built, with a contoured finish and rubberized ridges for a firm grip and traction. An ambidextrous mouse, it is also available for lefties. To accommodate different hand sizes, it comes in regular and large. I got the regular-sized unit, which fits perfectly in my hand. My thumb sits just right on the side buttons, making them more conveniently accessible. It is lightweight but somewhat heavy for gaming.

It features two programmable side buttons and a SmartWheel that you can also customize and key-bind specific shortcuts through the Logi Options+ app. Its silent clicks are 90% quieter compared to other models.

The Signature M650 is made from 26% to 64% recycled materials, and comes in three colors — Graphite, Off-White, and Rose (not available for lefties).

HARDWARE

The Signature M650 uses Logitech Advanced Optical Tracking sensor technology. In my opinion, an optical mouse beats a laser when it comes to performance on various surfaces. The light from the former is scattered less than in the latter, hence a better response on glass.
