The COVID-19 pandemic has raged on for too long now and boredom created from lockdowns, self-isolations, and delayed game releases have made gamers worldwide try to find ways to entertain themselves. Among Us, is a social deductive party game by Innersloth, released back in 2018, and thanks to quarantine, has taken the internet by storm.

Taking the internet by storm

Two years after its release, Among Us, is now in the center of the internet’s largest game streaming platform, Twitch. The game has recently caught the attention of some of the platform’s biggest stars such as xQc, the Offline TV crew, Shroud, and so much more. The hype surrounding Among Us eventually reached Filipinos which flooded the game, eventually InnerSloth created a dedicated Tagalog language option for the influx of new Pinoy players. Additionally, the team has already announced that they are working on a sequel game.
