Tennant Braced For Hectic Tour Series

Canyon-Eisberg rider looking to carry Lincoln form and result into one-hour crits

Fresh off a second place finish at the Lincoln Grand Prix, Andy Tennant is among the domestic riders readying themselves for the relentless physically and mentally demanding Tour Series races over the coming weeks.

With races every two or three days, riders on the Tour Series have to do a lot of travelling either to or from races. And while the series has a reputation for exciting racing, it’s not always been easy for riders to manage its unique set of demands.

“You have to embrace Tour Series for what it is,” Tennant said. “It’s an unknown and can be quite tiring as most people will tell you. But everything has moved on a bit now with nice comfortable cars and campervans so you can chill out quite a lot. I used to travel a lot further for four minutes of bike racing so it’s not too bad.”
