How was your last race?
It was the UAE Tour and it didn’t go that well. I was working in the first couple of sprints and did my job, but overall I’d rate my performance as four out of 10.
What’s the plan for 2019?
More than anything I want to tick off a few more wins. I’ve got one under my belt from the Herald Sun Tour and want to get some more and get a run going. I was a bit of a last-minute addition to this race and so didn’t feel that good on the first couple of days, but I got up there to take fourth on stage four despite starting quite a long way back. I’m down to ride a couple of the more sprinter-friendly Classics and I’ll give those a shot.
