Cycle hero Sir Chris gets right behind Bake Off Peter for final

My Star Biker

Sir Chris Hoy has backed fellow Scot Peter Sawkins to win this year’s Great British Bake Off.

Student Peter, 20, from Edinburgh, wowed the judges in the first round of the competition when he made a hero-themed showstopper based on Chris.

Olympian and 11-times world champion cyclist Chris said: “I’m delighted to hear Peter has made the final, particularly as he immortalised me in cake form.
