Gone are the days when choosing the same hue to dress from head-to-toe was frowned upon.

Tonal dressing, as the fashion world knows it, is now normcore. If you go through images of fashionistas of the 70s, you’ll know that they always had their eyes on the trend. In fact, even fashion houses preferred it, including collections by Jorn Langberg of Dior as well as Yves Saint Laurent (when Jerry Hall walked in all red). Later, tonal dressing was established as a classy trend to try. In fact, season after season every designer started adding this look to their mood board, giving us more reason to believe that fashion is, indeed, cyclical.
