Cristiano Ronaldo is going through a lean spell in front of goal
UNITED manager Ralf Rangnick insists he is not worried by Cristiano Ronaldo’s goalscoring drought.
Ronaldo has now gone six games without scoring – the worst spell in his career since he was last at United in 2008-09 – and he failed to score an open goal by miscueing a left-footed shot in the 1-1 draw against Southampton.
Edinson Cavani’s injury could ensure Ronaldo continues up front for the visit of Brighton on Tuesday and Rangnick says he would only be concerned if United were struggling to create chances.
