Pervert asked girl for sick phone call

A PERVERT asked what he believed was a 13-year-old girl to ring him for a sick phone call, but didn't realise he was actually speaking to an undercover cop.

Paul Barrett has been jailed for two years after failing to convince a jury that he thought that the account he was speaking to was an adult role playing' one.

Barrett, who was 40-years-old at the time of the offence, used an online chat room to speak with a profile called 'Sasha' between January and February 2019, Bolton Crown Court heard.

Despite the account telling Barrett that she was 13-years-old and in school, he turned the conversation sexual.
