Fast Track Lets Food Keep On Trucking

Empty supermarket lorries heading to the EU will be fast-tracked during any border disruption in Kent to maintain food supplies.

The scheme aims to ensure the trucks are not delayed at the Channel, so they can be refilled and return as soon as possible. Eligible lorries would have access to open M20 lanes during delays at Dover’s port and the Eurotunnel terminal.
