Sharpshooter Billy Finds Range To Torpedo Sharks
BILLY Twelvetrees kept his nerve to kick two superb 50-metre penalties in the last quarter to gain revenge for his side.
Gloucester had been humiliated 57-10 at the AJ Bell Stadium back in September but a strong second half performance from the pack was just enough to win an error-ridden match.
Head coach Johan Ackermann said: “We never got going as we got overexcited and needed to calm it down but I’m grateful we got over the winning line.
“We want to play exciting rugby but we needed to look after the ball better. Our error-count was high and our discipline poor, but the guys stuck at it and we secured vital turnovers and scrum penalties.
“We are growing as a team but it’s frustrating as the errors are not at the level we want.”
