ROO BEAUTY! HALL'S ALL READY FOR A RAMS PAID

The in-form Chorley striker is preparing for the biggest game of his career against the Rams in the FA Cup third round this weekend.

It will see the National League North side come up against the former England and Manchester United legend Rooney, who is the interim manager of the Championship club.

Hall, 22, grew up watching the striker and even drew some comparisons from friends.

“I used to get compared to him a lot of school because of my looks!” laughed Hall.

“It would be nice to play against him but the fact he’s not playing is probably a bonus, we won’t be coming up against a multi-Premier League winner.”

Not that Hall and his Chorley teammates will lack any belief against a team four divisions above them after dumping out League One clubs Wigan Athletic and Peterborough United in the last two rounds.

Hall scored the winner in their 3-2 win after extra time at Wigan before equalising against Posh as they claimed a 2-1 turnaround victory.
