Hero’s advice to Lita
LEROY LITA has been taking advice from Arsenal legend Ian Wright as he sets his sights on making Nuneaton fans “proud”.
The 35-year-old striker arrived at Liberty Way from Chelmsford City at the beginning of June, having also had stints at Reading, Middlesbrough and Swansea.
Moving into Non-League in 2018 with Margate, Lita is keen for the Southern League Premier side to improve on ninth placed last season.
Having first spoken with Boro boss Jimmy Ginnelly in January, it’s been a long wait for the former England U21 to get going.
“We have to set our standards high,” he told The NLP.
