IT’S not all that long ago Randell Williams was catching a bus to training with NonLeague Tower Hamlets in the Essex Senior League.

So it’s little wonder the in-demand Exeter City talent is taking all the hype in his stride and just concentrating on working hard to achieve his goals and aspirations to one day play in the Premier League.

Williams will most likely step up before the transfer window shuts. The 23-year old's performances for the League Two Grecians – which saw him included in the PFA Team of the Year – have alerted a number of clubs, including Hull and Peterborough.

Despite learning a new position at right wing-back, he chipped in with five goals and an excellent 14 assists last term – although the former Crystal Palace man wants a recount.

“I did have 17 assists – I don’t know why it went down to 14!” he laughs. “We missed nine games as well. So I can only build on that tally. I just love getting forward and creating.
