Tindall getting used to hotseat
BOURNEMOUTH and Nor-wich could both be forgiven for feeling down in the dumps after relegation from the Premier League, but bright starts suggest neither are suffering from a hangover.
Of course, things are a bit different at Bournemouth this term, which may have helped to freshen things up. Long-serving boss Eddie Howe, who brought the club so much success, departed by mutual consent following relegation from the Premier League last season and has been replaced by his former assistant Jason Tindall.
An opening day 3-2 home win against Blackburn and a point on the road from a 1-1 draw at Middlesbrough represents an encouraging start for the new manager.
Norwich also posted four points from their opening two fixtures – a 1-0 win at Huddersfield and a 2-2 home draw against Preston.
“Both teams know what to expect and what’s needed to get out of this division,” said Tindall on Friday, the morning after his side had lost 2-1 at holders Manchester City in the Carabao Cup third round.
