THE FIRST ENCOUNTER

Charles and I first met in 2009 at the University of Arkansas. We were introduced by mutual friends and started dating a few weeks later. On our first date he took me to this little Italian restaurant outside of town, Venesian Inn. It’s been around since the 40's and he told me how his grandfather went there when he was in college. I could tell even that early on that Charles was the kind of man I wanted to marry. It's still our special place and I hope it's still around when our grandchildren are in school.
