Postcards From Cyprus

From this issue onwards, we are replacing our ‘Travelogue’ section with ‘Postcards’. The first in the series brings to you the beautiful Mediterranean island of Cyprus.

For most Indians, Cyprus is a largely undiscovered destination. In fact, if asked which continent it is in, the answers would be an almost equal divide between Asia and Europe. That is because this little dot on the map is just south of Turkey and just west of Lebanon. Well, to set the record straight, let me share it is in Europe and is one of the newest members of the EU (European Union).
