Ferrari has taken its game to a superlative level with the new 812 Superfast. The latest sportscar from the Italian marque is synonymous with its moniker – 800hp as a result of a new 6.5 litre V12 engine. The new 812 Superfast is Ferrari’s fastest and finest V12 super-GT, second to none.

The brand which celebrates its 70th anniversary kicked off celebrations earlier this year with the unveiling of the 812 Superfast, the benchmark in the mid-front-engined sports car segment, achieving its maximum power output at 8,500 rpm. Needless to say, the performance is exhilarating and thrilling that has become synonymous with Ferrari’s V12s.

We were recently invited to the international media test drive of the 812 Superfast at the magnificent home of Ferrari – Maranello. The event kicked off with a technical briefing the evening before the drive. The Ferrari team who worked on creating the fastest super-GT shared the design, engineering and aerodynamic processes of the 812 Superfast.

Every time Ferrari decides to create a new automobile, its biggest challenge is to push the boundaries of the brand’s own achievements. With the 812 Superfast Ferrari has once again gone and done what the Italian automobile manufacturer is best known for – create iconic sportscars.

The 812 Superfast’s aero design is part of Ferrari’s ongoing commitment to continually improving performance with each new model - this encompasses both speed and vehicle dynamics for a more exciting driving experience.
