On the occasion of its 150th anniversary, IWC unveils a collection that pays tribute to its founders pioneering spirit andpassion for innovation

This year marks a milestone for the International Watch Company (IWC). The manufacture, which is based in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, is celebrating 150 years of exceptional craftsmanship and outstanding innovation in the field of global watchmaking. For this occasion, IWC presents its Jubilee Collection—a series of exquisite timepieces that pays homage to the bold, innovative, and adventurous spirit that drove its founder, the American entrepreneur Florentine Ariosto “FA” Jones, to establish the company in 1868.

“FA Jones, who was only 27 when he started IWC, always thought about the ways by which he could innovate and elevate what he already had to the next level,” managing director for IWC South East Asia Stanislas Rambaud says of the intrepid founder.
