ANDY WILLIAMS, HALF OF the star duo on HGTV’s Flip or Flop: Fort Worth, says he grew up in a modest two-bedroom, one-bath home with four siblings. “I think my bedroom was the dining area,” he recalls. “The kitchen, when we first moved in, didn’t have a refrigerator; we had a cooler. My dad was a concrete foreman, my mom was an immigrant from Barbados, so we had very humble beginnings—just a hard work ethic.”

Eventually, that work ethic would lead Williams to a career in the military, then contract work in Iraq, where he met his future wife, Ashley, and began active engagement in the process of what they describe as “building a life.”
