IT IS NO SECRET that the Breguet Tradition, easily recognised for its signature inverted movement, is among some of our favourite timepieces. Introduced in 2005, the Tradition which revealed most of the inner workings of a mechanical movement on the dial side was the creation from a brand owned by Swatch Group, that expressed the creativity and ingenuity of a rising group of rebel independent watchmakers from that same time period.

Inspired by souscription and tact watches created by Abraham-Louis Breguet, the Tradition collection has grown from time-only models to high complication fusée-and-chain variants culminating with its most eye-catching creation today: the new Quantième Rétrograde.
