FESTIVE GARLAND

YOU WILL NEED:

• String or twine in contrasting colours
• Mini brown paper envelopes (approx 6 x 10cm)
• Metallic marker pens
• Mini wooden pegs
• Push pins or temporary hooks

1 Begin by creating the braided cord from which the advent envelopes hang. Plait together the contrasting string or twine. We’ve kept our colours simple with a white and brown combination.

2 Continue plaiting until you have a 240cm-long braid and cut into four equal lengths. Tie knots at the ends of each braid.
