HOME PROFILE

THE OWNERS Entrepreneurial family of five fell in love with Swiss chalets and wanted their holiday home in the city to have the same vibe and look.

THE PROPERTY The massive plot, 3,824 sq m, has utilised only 1,076 sq m for the house, consisting nine rooms. The ground floor consists of the huge formal living room and lobby, dining and the guest bedroom. The first floor houses the master bedroom, kids’ rooms, kitchen and a party place in the midst of the setting with a bar.

FORMAL LIVING AREA

The double-height living room channels the spirit of minimalism and ha gorgeous views of the outdoors. All the furniture was crafted by Design Factory India.

The idea of an all-wood house in the midst of rolling greens is not only romantic but also a staple for people living in the mountains. A chalet style, especially the Swiss chalet, resonates with exotic holidays and relaxation. This style is mostly characterised by gabled roofs with wide eaves, exposed construction beams, including large brackets, large windows and wooden structure. Taking a leaf out of this Alpine beauty, Archohm and Design Factory India collaborated, to design a gorgeous wood house in Noida for an entrepreneurial family of five.
