DINING ROOM

The formal dining area has an architecturally inspired dining table...The arches in bronze offset the structural composition of the walls and steps in veneer.

THE BAR

Designed as a focal point, the bar lights up with decorative pendants in brass and alabaster. Arches make for an interesting backdrop.

The Jhalanis are a fun-loving family who love to hang out, which is why they decided to have a separate den to entertain both family and friends. To steer away from the usual, they assigned Sonal and Bobbi Tuli of Within to create a special space for them. “There is always something interesting about a new project and the Jhalanis were very clear on the specifics during their brief to us. They wanted a luxurious and lively party place,” the duo explained.

As an interior architecture consulting and space planning solutions firm, Within believes that “it’s important to create designs that have a story to tell and are timeless. That’s why we continuously strive to attain perfection with utmost attention to detail in every aspect of design.”

Though expansive, the space feels like a comfortable den with cosy conversation corners. Housed in a basement, the space is divided into two zones - one for young people who like to party and another for older people. “The key was to design the area keeping everyone’s interest in mind and create a space that would welcome both.”
