Ar. Cherag and Roozmehr Bardolivala use muted tones and textures to lavishly appoint this home in Mumbai

INFORMAL LIVING AREA
The informal living area is marked by the artwork of the rising planet. The muted tones have been garnished with a dash of colour by way of the burnt terracotta in the artwork as well as the cushion covers.
Get the look Burberry beige marble from Stone Source clads the floors, while fumed coco veneer from Jalaram Timber covers vertical surfaces. All artefacts, sofas and cushions and the plant artwork are from Design Artifact Haven. The flower pots are from Abaca and the plants are from The Green Spots.
FORMAL LIVING AREA
Arranged in front of the TV, the formal living area comes together around the centre table. “The centre table was crucial because the family did not want a glass or wood top. I have customised it using marble, beaten brass, mother-of-pearl, and also some black granite which has been inlayed into the table. The carpet is bespoke by Ochre Carpets, and practically all the colours of the living room have been infused in it,” says Cherag. All furniture has been designed in-house by RC Design Studio.
